Wicked Grins is a female-owned small business based out of Freestyle Tattoo Studio in Canberra, offering semi-permanent tooth gems, custom grillz and quirky jewellery.
Born in January 2024, Wicked Grins came to life after returning from the UK a broke a$$ bish with nothing but a few boxes, an emotionally unstable chihuahua, and the feminine urge to create something cool as hell. This little business quickly became the antidote to over a decade of the corporate grind.
While tooth gems are a mainstream accessory overseas (we’re big in Europe, I swear!) they’re still a niche here in Australia — and even more so in Canberra. This makes them the perfect little rebellion for rascals and trendsetters who like things a little quirky and a little fresh.
Fueled by hustle, heart, and caffeine, we’re all about celebrating self-expression and playfulness.
In the time we’ve been operating, we’ve had the pleasure of icing up all sorts of locals — from teachers to human rights advocates, defence personnel, students, landscapers, and dancers.

We keep it simple: high-quality crystals that are sourced from trusted suppliers ensuring they are lead-free and dental safe. Solid 18ct gold charms (nothing plated!), applied with care. This is why we offer the longest guarantee on our tooth gems. Where other tooth gem salons offer one month, we have doubled it.

When it comes to grillz, you can have peace of mind knowing you’ve got a local artist ensuring a precise, comfortable fit. All dental moulds are handled in person at the studio — so you don't have to worry about any of the hard stuff.
We don't take any shortcuts. We don't 3D print. Each grill is crafted by hand. We have the cuts to prove it!
