TOOTH PLATE FAQs
-
Tooth plates are custom-made decorative solid gold charms that are bonded to your tooth — in the same way a tooth gem is.
We take an impression of your tooth/teeth, and take away this mould so that we can create a plate that fits you perfectly.
Once finished, we adhere the plate using dental-grade materials. They’re durable, comfortable, and designed to stay on for 2–5 years.

Aftercare is similar to that of tooth gems. After getting your new plate applied you should:
Avoid eating for the first 2 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure
Refrain from touching or playing with the plate, especially in the first 48 hours
Do not brush the tooth with your plate for 12 hours after the plate is applied
Avoid sticky and hard foods in the initial days to prevent pulling on the plate
Wait 2 weeks after getting your plate before using any tooth whitening products
Just be gentle with it in for the first couple of days :)
tooth gem FAQs
-
Tooth gems are considered semi-permanent and typically last anywhere from three months to over a year — most clients find their gems stay on for six months or longer.
Gold charms, on the other hand, have a thinner profile and greater surface area of adhesion, allowing them to last between two and five years — making them an incredible long-term option.
Longevity varies depending on factors such as gem size, placement, and how well aftercare is followed.
-
Yes, the application and wear of gems are safe. We only use dental-grade material and the process is completely non-invasive. NO DRILLING & NO PAIN.
Make sure you maintain good oral hygiene. Continue to brush your teeth and floss regularly.
Get your teeth cleaned at the dentist every 6 months to avoid plaque buildup around gems.
-
Not at all! The process is completely pain-free and non-invasive. We do not use any drilling. We can promise a comfy seat, good tunes, and a chill experience.
-
Tooth gems will eventually fall off naturally. But if you'd like to get them off before this happens, they must be removed by a dentist to ensure easy and safe removal. You can ask them to remove any gems during a regular tooth clean for you.
